Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various tasks that support production and maintenance activities. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We work in metal fabrication, laser cutting and powder coating. the role will require, cutting, grinding, drilling and assembly operations, in a cell and line manufacturing set up.

Duties

Assist in the daily operations of the facility, including production line support and material handling. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards. Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly for resolution. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial setting. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report issues clearly and concisely.
