We are currently seeking hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious General Operatives to join our railway maintenance and construction team.. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our company. The position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficient workflow. Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety guidelines. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support the loading and unloading of materials and products, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role. PTS Tickets is desired but not essential Drivers Licence Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to operational tasks. Physical fitness is required, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
