Overview of the role:

As a General Operative / Industrial cleaner (nights) you will be responsible for the cleaning of the company's on-site machinery and warehouse facilities (walkways etc) and, other general duties including litter picking, jet washing and general maintenance.

Hours:

Sunday - Thursday 10.00pm to 6am (nights) 40 hrs.

Salary:

12.35 per hour + 10 shift allowance.

What we'll need from you:

You must

- have previous industrial cleaning experience in a workplace environment.

- have experience in using cleaning apparatus competently i.e. jet washer.

- have lots of common sense with a flexible can-do attitude.

- have awareness and understanding of Health & safety procedures on an industrial site.

- have general maintenance experience

- ideally have experience of working nights

What you'll be doing as a General Operative / Industrial cleaner

The main tasks of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning industrial machinery and general warehouse facilities i.e. walkways

- Operating cleaning apparatus competently i.e. jet washers

- Ensure good site housekeeping including sweeping up and litter picking (on-site and perimeter)

- Undertaking general maintenance duties

- Ensure Health & safety regulations are adhered to.

- Reporting any issues as they arise

- Ensure the company's environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.

- Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the manager.
