Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various tasks that support production and maintenance activities. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Duties

Assist with laser operating and powder coating of products as per specifications. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to supervisors. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Support other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility in task assignments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Basic understanding of health and safety practices within an industrial setting is preferred. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work conditions.
