Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 6pmHere at Vigor Doors we are looking for reliable and hard-working General Operatives to join our busy manufacturing team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the production process, working with timber products and machinery to deliver high-quality, compliant products.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain factory machinery, including but not limited to saws, pneumatic nail guns and hand-held tools. Carry out joinery related tasks to specific drawings and instructions. Work to tight tolerances and quality standards to ensure all fire doors meet safety and audit requirements. Assist with loading/unloading materials as required. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in joinery or woodworking is advantageous; however, training will be given. Experience working on a busy production line. Confident using a range of hand/power tools. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to measurements and specifications. Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. A good team player with pro-active attitude and a willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
