The hours of work and shift patterns are: Monday - Friday 2:30pm -10:30pm


The rates of pay are: 12.21

Main Responsibilities:

The General Operative will be responsible for:

Correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in the cutting hall General operative duties on the line as required Ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours Produce each product to specification Maintain Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company Policy and all relevant legislative documentation - actively encouraging health and safety awareness with other operatives and maintaining a safe working environment. Ensure work practices minimise the risk of product contamination.

Good spoken English is essential To meet targets set by management and the customer, i.e. productivity, quality hygiene and waste. To work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff Meet all customer requirements & meet standards expected Thorough and Methodical Self-motivated Able to maintain high personal standards Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and able to meet tight deadlines
