We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant to join our fantastic healthcare team at an independent private GP clinic in Wokingham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care within a busy clinical setting, supporting patients with their health needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to patient wellbeing while working in a supportive environment. The Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant will be responsible for providing clinical care and providing support to GPs.

Duties

Phlebotomy, administering vaccinations, injections and wound care Supporting patients with weight loss management Assisting with procedures including coil insertion Ear wax removal (training can be provided) Travel clinic appointments (training can be provided) Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records using IT systems Communicating effectively with patients Assisting with administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic organisation

Skills required

Experience working within a primary care setting Strong IT skills, including familiarity with electronic health records systems Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour
