Are you an experienced practice nurse and looking for some extra hours, working in a community setting offering a holistic, patient centred care within a multidisciplinary team? Due to a change in our practice nursing team we are looking for someone to bring about 8 hours per week of their practice nursing skills to the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Practice Nurse who is able to work autonomously, to strengthen our friendly well established training practice. You will play a vital role in our practice team, working alongside a range of healthcare professionals. There is another part-time practice nurse in the practice as well as a part-time healthcare assistant.

Practice nursing experience including long term condition management and minor illness management is essential. Continual professional development is essential to help deliver a high standard of care to our patients. Our clinical systems are Vision and Docman.

The successful candidate should be comfortable accepting responsibility, be able to work independently and deliver a high standard of clinical care. They should have good communication and IT skills, the ability to prioritise and be motivated to reach their potential within an innovative and forward thinking environment.

This is a permanent post and will be for 8 hours per week, which can be worked as one full day or two half days. Salary would be dependent on experience.

Crown Medical Practice is 5 minutes from the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness town centre, with easy access to public transport.
