We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services, supporting doctors and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities.

Responsibilities

Delivering direct patient care, including health assessments, vaccinations, and wound management Assisting with minor procedures and clinical examinations Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues Managing patient records accurately and maintaining confidentiality at all times Supporting the administration of medication and monitoring patient responses Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care delivery Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and health & safety regulations Participating in health promotion programmes and community outreach activities as required

Experience

Proven experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting Strong knowledge of anatomy and clinical procedures relevant to general practice nursing Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient groups Familiarity with healthcare software systems and record keeping standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK, such as NMC registration

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.31-18.00 per hour
