Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team working as Locum / Self Employed GP. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical care across a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties



Conduct thorough patient consultations, including history taking and physical examinations Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines Coordinate with specialists for advanced diagnostics such as medical imaging or specialised procedures Oversee medication administration and monitor patient responses Provide specialised care in areas such as ICU, senior care, hospice, or home care as required Engage in clinical research projects to support evidence-based practice Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards Promote preventative health measures and public health initiatives within the community Support multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care

Skills



Typical GP role in private clinical offering General Health consultations. Proven experience in patient care across diverse healthcare settings in NHS, including nursing homes, hospice, or home care environments Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and interpretation is desirable as per NHS guidelines Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and application in practice Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients and families Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varied clinical environments Compassionate approach with a commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous learning
