General Support Assistant

Permanent
Full Time, 35 Hours per week

Salary: Grade 1 Bar 23,912 - 24,676 per annum (Starting salary commences at 23,912)



Based within Faculty of Nautical & STEM; Construction & Built Environment the successful candidate will maintain, where appropriate; stores and storerooms, including the receipt of general materials, equipment etc, and related store records. You will provide assistance in the preparation of materials and resources for construction related training whilst maintaining a clean, healthy and safe working environment.



The ideal candidate will be educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent, and have previous manual handling experience. You should have good interpersonal and communications skills and be client focused. Previous experience in a construction related environment, as well as stores experience, would be advantageous but not essential.
