Job Description

Since 1971, PSS has strived to be the UK's leading provider of remanufactured power steering, hydraulic, and mechanical components.

We are now looking for a General Warehouse Operative to support our remanufacturing division. Our products include everything from power steering racks and boxes, to axles and differentials, right through to complete military vehicle hydraulic systems.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse/factory environment and will possess a good eye for details and a strong work ethic. Full in-house training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Your main duties may include:

Receiving goods for repair and booking them in. Packing of finished items to ship to customers. Loading goods onto delivery vans. Occasional van driving to collect goods from customers/suppliers. Spray painting of finished products. Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements:

Motivated individual with strong work ethic. Previous experience in a warehouse or factory environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Full, clean UK driving licence required. Counterbalance forklift licence would be beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks, as required. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

This role is full time, 39 hours per week.
