General Warehouse Operative - Springs and Foam.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Based in our Warehouse you will be responsible for foam cutting and Spring Making in the first instance. The role entails safely obtain large foam blocks and place them on the bed of the vertical bandsaw and cutting it into the correct size and shape using the issued worksheet as guidance. Safely obtain the required spring sets and unpack in a safe manor. Using the precut foam pieces, assemble the spring cores in accordance with the issued work sheet in a safe and timely manner.

We are looking for individuals who possess:

A strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. An understanding of and adherence to health and safety procedures. Good physical dexterity and the ability to handle products safely, including two-man lifts for heavy items. Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean work environment. Willingness to complete a training program or be in current training for this task. The ability to work effectively with schedules and communicate clearly. Flexibility to work across the warehouse floor in other departments as needed.

The Details

Hours: 39 hours per week, with a 1pm finish on a Friday!! Pay: 12.70 per hour (rising to 13p/h on completion of training programme) - paid weekly.
