Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel engines. We would also ideally like someone with some electrical knowledge. The main role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of generators. We would also like someone who would be willing to deliver the generators on busy periods and also help manage our warehouse on quite periods. A commitment to customer service and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Maintaining our fleet of generators. Repair when required in the event of a breakdown. Deliver and collect generators on busy periods. Ensuring there is enough stock to service generators. Sorting of cable and distribution within warehouse And ensuring it is ready for hire. Repairing damaged plugs on cables and distribution. Picking and arranging cables for engineers installs. Maintain a clean and organised workspace while ensuring all tools are accounted for after use.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot using schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.

Pay: 25,590.90-36,000.00 per year
