Geneva Global Accounts Specialist

Full Time, Permanent



We have an exciting opportunity for a Geneva Global Accounts Specialist to join our Strategic & Global Accounts team. The successful candidate will take a leading role in supporting VIP clients, producing high level reports, analysing data and visiting clients.

Skills and experience you'll bring to us

Excellent attention to detail, which is essential in this role Clear and precise communication skills An understanding of major trades routes and supply chain logistics Proven sales focus Driving License High level of systems required, including MSC systems and excel, word, PowerPoint preferred Excellent presentation skills for Client visits or high-level reporting

How you will help us and what you can expect

Ownership of global accounts and demanding portfolio of customers Focus on new global account customer development and maximise existing business Global accounts meetings in Geneva as required Develop global accounts opportunities by customer, commodity or sector Man marking Geneva global account team, leading meetings, conference calls, reviews and updates to support Geneva team and wider MSC UK team Focus on TEU growth, profitability, intermodal growth, upselling all products and client ID Regular analysis of customer performance and internal reporting and escalation as required Tracking the business to ensure delivery of budget expectations Frequently meetings with Senior Management to adapt online with business strategy UK client and overseas visits Ensure tenders are processed on a timely basis, resulting in improved Geneva and customer satisfaction. Follow up on tenders to establish if secured, if not secured, understand reasons why. Work closely with Trade, wider sales team and supporting business units.
