Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards on construction sites. The Builder will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation. Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as required for various projects. Conduct plumbing and electrical installations or repairs as needed. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for construction tasks such as roofing, plastering, and flooring installation. Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing restoration, remodeling, or hardscape tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Assist in construction estimating and inspection processes to ensure project feasibility and adherence to specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction with a strong understanding of building techniques and materials. Proficiency in using Bluebeam software for project management and documentation is preferred. Familiarity with construction management practices is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in various trades including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, welding, and tile laying is highly desirable. Strong skills in concrete forming, plastering, trim carpentry, caulking, glass installation, and restoration work are essential. Knowledge of safety practices on construction sites is critical. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for high-quality workmanship. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
