Are you a dynamic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of global thinkers? A progressive secondary school in Hull is on the lookout for a motivated educator to join their Humanities department this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher to bring geographical concepts to life and cultivate curiosity about the natural and human world. The successful Geography Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to engage with topics such as ecosystems, urbanisation, climate change, and global interdependence.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS or equivalent) specialising in Geography
  • Have proven experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting, particularly at KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident in using engaging, modern teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes
  • Possess strong behaviour management and a proactive classroom presence
  • Be a collaborative team player who values communication with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Have a genuine passion for geography and a commitment to fostering environmental and global awareness
