We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This role requires creativity, patience, and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Experience
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using technology for educational purposes, including digital learning tools.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the school community.
Safeguarding is a priority and is everyone's responsibility. You will be expected to understand how to raise and report concerns. Training will be given to ensure that you are able to follow the correct procedures and how to identify potential child protection concerns
All pupils benefit from the directives of their EHCP. Most have social emotional and mental health needs. Experience of working with this profile would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging nurturing and effective lessons tailored to the needs of students- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback- Collaborate with subject leads to develop curriculum and instructional materials- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behaviour- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Track student progress, set and monitor targets, and take appropriate action based on student outcomes.
Identify extra-curricular opportunities and activities relevant to nurture students, such as social skills groups and emotional regulation workshops.
Skills: Strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to effectively teach it
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience and ability to work with diverse groups of students
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.

Qualifications - Degree in Education or related field preferable
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required
