About the role



Be part of this 'once in a generation' project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.


The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing



The Geospatial Monitoring Manager leads the planning and implementation of geospatial monitoring systems to support civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role involves managing the acquisition, analysis, and reporting of geospatial monitoring data, structural integrity, Temporary Works safety and asset management. The manager ensures all monitoring activities align with engineering goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

Role reports to the CWA Engineering Survey Lead.

Who we're looking for



Qualifications & Education:

Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a
related discipline.

Certifications (Preferred): Specialist survey and monitoring software.

Experience:

5-8 years in geospatial analysis or monitoring within civil infrastructure projects. Experience managing cross-functional geospatial and engineering teams.


Skills & Competencies:

Advanced proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, and geospatial modelling. Familiarity with civil engineering principles and construction project life cycles. Proficient in Python or SQL for spatial analytics and automation. Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Leica GeoMos, Microsoft Excel, Power BI etc. Strong communication skills for presenting spatial insights to engineering and non-technical audiences.


Work Environment:

Primary focus on civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Office-based with some travel to construction site. Coordination with contractors, engineers, client, and survey teams. Hybrid work model available depending on project needs
