Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surveyor to become part of our energetic team. As a Surveyor, you will conduct land surveys, collect and analyse data, and produce accurate and detailed drawings. Your expertise will also include conducting measured building surveys using 3D laser scanners to obtain detailed and precise building representations. While experience is preferred, it is not required, as we offer extensive training in CAD software, surveying methods, and data management. This role provides a hybrid work model, enabling you to work both from our office and remotely from your home. Please note, this position requires regular travel across the UK to various project sites and occasional overnight stays.
Responsibilities:
Conduct land surveys using various surveying instruments and tools, including 3D laser scanners for measured building surveys.
Analyse survey data to produce accurate maps and detailed drawings.
Use CAD software to develop plans and drawings under supervision until proficient.
Calculate and measure to determine property boundaries.
Maintain detailed records of all survey data and related documents.
Assist in preparing legal property descriptions and land title documents.
Stay informed about the latest industry developments and surveying technology.
Adapt to a flexible work schedule, combining office-based and remote work as part of our hybrid model.
Experience:
Surveying experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
A keen interest in surveying techniques, equipment, and tools, including 3D laser scanning.
Willingness to learn CAD software.
Good organisational and data management skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints once trained.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Requirement:
Candidate must reside within a 10-mile radius of our office.
