About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team of Engineers, Geologists, and Environmental Scientists. You'll be involved in both fieldwork and office-based tasks, contributing to projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. From desk studies to site supervision, logging, monitoring, and reporting, you'll be trained in every aspect of the ground investigation process.
You'll start with comprehensive training and mentoring, progressing to managing more complex projects and contributing to interpretive reporting. Long-term, there's a clear pathway to becoming a Chartered Consultant, with opportunities to lead projects, represent the company at industry events, and take on strategic responsibilities.
What We Do
We deliver both factual and interpretive reports for a wide range of clients--from self-builders to major developers and public sector bodies. Our work includes:
Geotechnical investigations
: Foundation design, basement construction, earthworks, subsidence, and slope stability assessments.
Contaminated land assessments
: GQRA/DQRA for soils, groundwater, and ground gases, remediation supervision, and verification reporting.
We're expanding our in-house laboratory and contracting capabilities and pride ourselves on innovation and leadership in our field.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated graduate with:
A degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Physical Geography, Geophysics, Environmental Science, or a related subject.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for solving technical challenges.
A full, clean UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
Flexibility for occasional travel and varied working hours.
What We Offer
Starting salary:
25,400-32,000
, depending on qualifications and experience.
