To help us achieve this mission we need a GIS Planner to take us on this journey. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Design & Planning Manager, we are looking for a GIS Planner with extensive experience within design and planning of the national telecommunications network, across multiple FTTP architectures. In addition to daily planning duties, the Planner will collaborate with the design and planning team to coordinate focused outputs towards the completion of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• General daily planning duties.
• Work with the Design team to contribute to problem resolution.
• Create full solutions for FTTP designs in-line with specification and cost effective design.
• Working with, and building strong relationships with design partners, auditing designs they provide.
• Ensure all civils avoidance has been accounted for in the designs.
• Contribute to the completion of \xe2\x80\x98In Life Changes\xe2\x80\x99 (DCRs, ILCs).
• Adhere to CDM compliance documentation.
• Collaborating with teams across the business to ensure alignment with THP delivery requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures.

About you: We are looking for someone who can think critically, is forward thinking and who seeks out progressive ways to achieve delivery targets. You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience of working on a GIS system for the function of fibre and civils design and THP delivery, together with thorough knowledge of local and national authority regulations.
