Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cutter/unit maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Cutter, you will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions, ensuring quality and efficiency in our operations.

Duties

Operate hot melt machines and equipment to cut materials according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for precise cutting tasks. Collaborate with the assembly team to ensure seamless integration of cut materials into the production line. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Inspect cut materials for quality assurance, identifying any defects or discrepancies. Assist in inventory management within the warehouse, ensuring that materials are readily available for production needs.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with assembly processes and techniques is advantageous. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
