Job Summary

We are seeking a Time Served skilled Glass Fiber Laminator to join our dynamic team based in East Kilbride, Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of glass fiber components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes and the ability to work with precision tools and materials.

The Ideal candidate would need experience in Chemical Resins, Atlac, Derakane, and General Purpose resins.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble glass fiber components according to specifications and drawings. Manufacturing Filter systems, Tanks, Ductwork to our Technical Drawings. Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for accurate production. Conduct materials handling and ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products. Perform basic maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks in the workplace.

Skills

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material quantities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency in production processes. Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
