We're now recruiting

two full-time Glass Processors

and

one part-time Glass Processor

to join our Consett team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in a modern, supportive environment where training, teamwork, and pride in what we do are at the heart of everything.

What you'll be doing

Manufacturing glass units using semi-automatic tools, CNC machines, and hand tools Cutting, laminating, and sealing double-glazed units Reading and working from technical drawings and operating procedures Using OHC (Overhead Crane) and manual handling techniques to move glass safely Developing your skills to become multiskilled across a range of production tasks

What we're looking for

Ideally, experience in the glass industry and confidence using hand/semi-automatic tools OHC and/or FLT certificates would be an advantage BUT -- if you don't have direct glass experience, we'll still consider you if you can demonstrate: The ability to work from technical drawings/instructions A willingness to learn new skills The ability to thrive in a hands-on, manual role

Shifts & Pay

Part-Time (x1 role):

Day shift:

Mon-Thu 13:00-19:00 (22 hrs/week)

Night shift:

Mon-Thu 01:00-07:00 (18 hrs/week) Hourly rate:

12.21 + 8% shift allowance
