We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and repair, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Glazier will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass in various structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions for installation in windows, doors, and other structures.
Install glass using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring secure fitting and alignment.
Repair or replace broken glass in existing installations.
Fabricate frames and supports for glass installations as needed.
Work with hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including painters and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion.
Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
Fitting galss , mirror , balustrade , splash back , shower door and screen ,....
Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to glass installation.
Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous.
Understanding of electrical systems related to glazing installations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
