Job Summary:
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Glazier. No prior experience in glazing is necessary -- just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience using tools.

As a Glazier, you'll start by helping with window cleaning, site prep, and maintenance tasks, and gradually work your way into learning window installations, repairs, and replacements. This is a great opportunity to build a trade skill and grow within a supportive team environment.

Duties:

- Assist with cleaning and maintaining windows on commercial and residential properties

- Handle basic prep work at job sites (moving materials, protecting work areas, etc.)
- Measure glass to specified size and shape and produce order note for admin
- Installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, repair, maintenance, removal and replacement of double glazing

- Replacements of friction stays, locking mechanisms, handles and seals
- Remove old or broken glass, door and window units, then replacing with new glass panes
- Work with various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to secure glass
- Follow schematics or blueprints to ensure accurate installations
- Use hand tools for various jobs on site
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and customers when needed

- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with the contract/agreed requirements

- Carry out tasks within the agreed time limits

- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work

- Report to Line Manager

- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to the Line Manager

- Contribute towards the smooth running of the team

Qualifications:
- Proficient in using hand tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship

- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

- Comfortable working on ladders or lifts when necessary

- Willingness to learn and take direction

- Valid driver's license
