We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Glazing & uPVC Service Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of uPVC windows, doors, and associated fittings. You will ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Working hours 07.30 - 16.00 Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on uPVC windows, doors, and conservatories. Diagnose faults and issues with uPVC products and carry out necessary repairs. Replace locks, handles, hinges, seals, glazing units, and other fittings as required. Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and company safety procedures. Liaise professionally with customers to provide updates, advice, and aftercare. Report recurring issues or customer feedback to the service manager. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with uPVC windows and doors (installation and/or repairs). Strong understanding of uPVC systems, hardware, and glazing. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Full UK driving license. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physically fit and able to work at height or in confined spaces when necessary. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Desirable Qualifications (but not essential):

NVQ or City & Guilds in Fenestration Installation or equivalent. CSCS card. Health & Safety training (e.g. Working at Height, Manual Handling).
