Your new role:



A global SME provides thought leadership, process guidance and service consultation to all Trident regions, particularly in regions where the service is new and/or emergent. They exhibit a strong foundation in CGI industry practices and possess the necessary category knowledge to perform and guide work in our CGI area. Covering every facet from e-commerce and end of design rendered packs to high-end design, animations and real time rendering. The Global CGI SME focusses on aligning innovations with production workflows and supports the development & mentorship of team members to support new process integration. The role combines technical expertise, investigative skill and leadership capability to support the continued growth of the CGI business.

This role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) with 2 days in the office and 3 working from home.



Responsibilities of a Global CGI SME:



Offers thought leadership and delivers factual and correct information pertaining to CGI to both internal and external stakeholders.

Influences the vision of a global operating model and is responsible for the action plan to fully integrate the service in all relevant and opportunistic regions.

Identifies and recommends potential new areas for R&D focus to enhance the company's innovation pipeline.

Conducts thorough investigations into CGI software and technological advancements.

Stays informed on industry trends and contemporary practices to ensure alignment with evolving standards.

Responsible for outlining and managing a global work process for CGI service.

Serves as a bridge between technological innovations and practical applications, driving the integration of new practices.

Responsible for the internal and external roster of approved service providers on the CGI team.

Responsibility includes implementation, maintenance and improvement of the CGI development process.

Who are we looking for?



Preferred degree level qualification in related discipline - 3D Design, Games Design, Media.

Minimum 10 years' experience within the packaging CGI production industry.

Experience in packaging CGI production, ideally complemented by experience gained from the broader CGI industry.

Use of software applications used in CGI packaging production such as 3DS Max, V-ray and other contemporary software where applicable.

Creation and delivery of presentations, process documentation and business requests (RFC's) using MS Office suite.

Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects.

Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions.

Training & coaching experience.

Ability to resolve technical escalations in a fast-paced environment.
