Title: Global Head of Facilities Management
Department: Store Development
Reports to: Director of Construction & Facilities Management
Location: UK or ROI with travel required in all markets

As the Head of Facilities at Primark, you will have full responsibility for transforming and enhancing our global facilities management services. Your role is not only about leading and managing well-maintained stores and buildings but also spearheading change initiatives that will elevate Primark\'s experience for our customers, colleagues and visitors globally.

Key Responsibilities or the role

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for facilities that align with Primark\'s business objectives
  • Drive transformational change initiatives to improve our global service and standards
  • Lead the FM departments engagement with ABF Group insurance and governance teams
  • Champion change management to implement best practices and streamline processes across the function
  • Support the development of FM contracts and contractor management to ensure quality service levels are met at optimal cost
  • Contribute to FM Procurement strategy and benchmarking projects
  • Develop and implement measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
  • Manage the operational budget effectively, conducting monthly analysis, period review and forecasting
  • Supporting the management and reporting of Facilities budgets in conjunction of the SFM Finance and Finance business partner
  • Planning for the future by forecasting the facility\'s upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Developing positive relationships with the leadership teams at each location to understand the dynamic business requirements and anticipate any inefficiencies or quality issues and work to quickly resolve.
What will you bring to the role
  • Experience developing and executing a strategic vision for facilities management whilst driving transformational change programmes to enhance our customer and colleague experience
  • Exceptional leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Negotiating and procuring facilities management service contracts based upon best practice principles, with an understanding and working knowledge of performance measurement techniques within the current facilities management market
  • International facilities management, with an understanding of relevant European legislation an advantage
  • Customer centric focus with the ability to work well with a wide range of internal stakeholders and international vendors/suppliers.
  • Experience of diligently managing customer relationships within organisations and with managing and recommending improvements to SLA\'s with customers and facilities service providers
  • You will have experience of the management of facilities management and capital revenue budgets
  • Demonstrate the ability to delegate where necessary and appropriate but equally \'roll-up sleeves\' to accomplish key requirements as well
