Job Title: Head of Identity Management, Governance and Administration

Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

Role Description:

As Head of Identity Management, Governance and Administration, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for our IAM program with an in-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, processes and best practices.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practices for the IAM system.

\xc2\xb7 Evaluate, select and implement IAM technologies to meet business requirements and security standards.

\xc2\xb7 Lead the design, implementation and execution of IAM projects, including access control, identity proofing, and identity governance and administration.

\xc2\xb7 Lead the management of the day-to-day operations of the IAM system, ensuring it is running efficiently, effectively and securely.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, FISMA, PCI, HIPAA, SOX etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors.

\xc2\xb7 Provide regular reporting and performance metrics to senior management on the IAM program.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and lead a high-performance team of security professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills.

Requirements

Essential Skillset/Experience:

\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, including access control, identity proofing, and identity governance and administration.

\xc2\xb7 Experience managing IAM projects, including design, implementation and execution.

\xc2\xb7 Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, FISMA, PCI, HIPAA, SOX etc.

\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Experience managing budgets and personnel.

The role will be based in London but some travel may be required. This role supports Hybrid working
