What you'll do
This role is based in Dorchester Collection Corporate Office, London - there may be an opportunity and requirement to travel to different sites in London and overseas if required.Using your previous experience in Hotel Technology you will provide the conduit between the corporate office and the hotels to ensure all solutions are optimized and configured within Dorchester Collection standards whilst taking into consideration other related and connected systems. You will actively engage in project work associated with Dorchester Collection core central systems as well as maintain, support and improve said systems on an ongoing basis.
You will be responsible for maintaining/supporting existing multi-property environment of Opera PMS, Oracle Simphony POS, SynXis CRS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Trybe, Unifocus and other associated global systems.
You'll support the applications department with project implementation and coordination, and work with third parties and internal stake holders to run test scripts to quality assure functionalities are delivered
Maintain and develop appropriate DC Global applications security standards and associated processes, and develop SOPs for system functionalities and guides in conjunction with other key business stakeholders
Support key Global applications version upgrades - functionality testing, implementation, introduce new functionalities, advise on functionality changes
Provide helpdesk escalation of hotel application issues including acting as first line reviewer/assessor of change requests and noting viability and impact before then seeking final approval
Raise and escalate P1 Hotel Application issues for the group and co-ordinate/update with key hotel stakeholders

What you'll bring
Previous experience running projects as well enforcing processes, procedures and standards
Previously demonstrated experience in implementing or maintaining central hotel technology based systems
Experience in testing, assessment, and approval of upgrades in multi-property environments
You'll have advanced knowledge of at least one of the following: Opera PMS, Opera Cloud PMS, Oracle SImphony POS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Synxis CRS
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great verbal and written communication skills in English
You've held a supervisory role in hotel operations and have experience of working directly with hotel technologies in a role where this was a significant responsibility.
