Position Overview



Are you a seasoned payroll professional ready to lead payroll for a growing and dynamic global organization? Quantum Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Manager who can effectively work with outsourced payroll providers in various countries including the UK, Australia and Sweden, ensuring compliance with local regulations and seamless payroll operations. Working closely with Human Resources and Finance, the Global Payroll Manager will have accountability for payroll processing, tax obligations, pension schemes, and salary sacrifice arrangements across all regions, while ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy for all areas of payroll operations including processing, tax submissions, and compliance reporting. This role will be based out of the UK and report directly to Quantum Design's Global Chief Human Resources Officer.

Your Key Responsibilities:



Manage and execute all payroll operations, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation, processing, and documentation of transactions (e.g. including time and attendance, pay and benefits, leave, taxes and tax filings, pension schemes, salary sacrifice arrangements) Manage relationships and collaborate with payroll service providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration and compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements in each country Collaborate with Employer of Record (EOR) providers in Australia and Sweden to facilitate payroll services for remote employees Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity across all payroll systems Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll, pension and other related inquiries and issues promptly address and resolve any payroll and/or compliance-related questions Identify opportunities to scale processes and systems to enhance global payroll operational efficiency Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and integrate standardized global payroll processing and reporting practices across Quantum Design, Inc. Ensure timely completion of audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 8+ years of experience in global payroll management, with a deep understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in the UK Must have experience managing payroll across multiple countries including the UK and Europe Demonstrated experience owning the full-cycle payroll experience, including managing taxes, pension schemes, and salary sacrifice arrangements Experience with oversight and auditing of payroll and payroll tax laws Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret payroll data and implement corrective actions where necessary Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive payroll information Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures in a fast-paced, global environment Experience with Workday and/or the BlueOcean payroll platform strongly preferred
