Sales Specialist
to spearhead growth and unlock new opportunities across our chemical product portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding our market presence and building long-term client relationships.
What will you be doing
Work alongside the Account Managers on leads and new business opportunities
Roll out global New Business Themes
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in base chemicals
Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients and industry stakeholders. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy
Working with internal stakeholders to build tailored solutions for our clients, to drive revenue growth
Deliver persuasive presentations and tailored solutions to potential clients
Track sales performance and provide regular pipeline updates
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events
Skills and Experience
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's a plus)
5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the chemical sector
Strong knowledge of base chemical products, applications, and market dynamics
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing new markets
Pro-active, agile and able to work at pace
Comfortable reviewing data to identify trends, opportunities and challenges
Superb communicator, one-to-one and with groups, at all seniority levels
Strong organisational and project management skills
Able to work effectively in a matrix organisation, using influencing and engaging colleagues to achieve your objectives
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel as needed
