About The Team

Dyson Group Security has the responsibility for delivering security best practice across the global footprint. The physical security of property assets is a key element of ensuring Dyson people, commercial assets and reputation are sufficiently protected to meet the strategic Blue print.
The Global Technical Security Network Manager reports through to the Global Head of Technical Security in the Dyson Technical Security Team. The Team is geographically positioned at the Malmesbury Security Centre of Excellence.
In short, as more of a technology biased role, this will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of our Global Security Network. This includes security solutions, cloud environment, networking, server management, software/hardware deployment, technology integration, commissioning and project support.
About The Role
Working with the Project Management team commissioning network systems for our new sites.
Provide network support to the Engineering Team.
Form part of a 3rd Line 24/7 support model - This role will provide high level technical support.
Deployment globally if required to support Project Delivery.
Performing system installations, refreshes, backups and upgrades
Systems fault diagnosis and repair
Communicating with key stakeholders, including business customers and end users.
Provide train-the-trainer sessions on new procedures and techniques to 1st line system users for effective operation
Developing an effective relationship with key security dependency partners; namely Global Estates, IT and Maintenance
Supporting the Global Head of Technical Security with developing/deploying conceptual designs and bespoke engineered solutions
Support the Global Technical Security Integrations Manager with the training and development of the in-house engineering and integrations teams
Administration:
Aligning with the Dyson behaviours, code of ethics and other Dyson working practices
Maintain accurate and effective system documentation
Exercising cost control to assure good Team financial governance
About You
-------------
We're looking for someone who has:
Understanding of the installation and maintenance of IP based Security Technology
Certified in Cisco Network Infrastructure
Certified in Cisco Meraki.
Knowledge of Physical Servers, Cloud Technology preferably Microsoft. Their configuration maintenance and redundancy
Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload in a fast changing environment
Understanding of Security compliance requirements and asset management in buildings
Resourceful and innovative approach to resolving challenges
