Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Packer to join our production team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by handling the loading and packing of goods in our glue lines. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in accordance with our quality standards in a fast-paced environment. We operate a shift system on this process and pay a shift allowance as per the advertised rate. Shifts are variable and can include the weekends depending on rotation. There is no night shift requirement.

Responsibilities

Accurately load flat cartons into a machine and pack items for shipping, adhering to order specifications. Work in accordance with our Quality Assurance Certifications and keep accurate records of quantities packed and time spent. Assist with pallets, waste removal from the production floor and maintain a litter free environment. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Qualifications

Experience in a production environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling practices. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely. Strong attention to detail, particularly when loading and packing orders. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly production space. A proactive approach to safety procedures within the workplace.
