Job Summary

Reporting to the Cut, Crease & Finishing Manager, we are looking for an experienced

Glue Minder

to operate and maintain glue line machinery, ensuring high-quality cartons for food and healthcare packaging.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up glue line machinery for production runs. Monitor quality and maintain compliance with industry standards Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessary. Uphold hygiene, safety, and environmental standards by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with the finishing team and support with the training of others. culture on site and follow all Company safety policies, practices, and rules to maintain a safe working environment, always ensuring compliance to any regulatory requirements (e.g. COSHH)

Skills & Experience Required

An experienced glue minder in packaging/print/carton manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude with good attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to use pallet trucks - FLT licence would be a bonus A good understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing setting

Physical Demands of Role

There is a requirement to handle materials and equipment so you must have the capacity to lift /position these materials into the correct workspace and move materials around as and when required, which is an essential part of the job role.

We operate a 3-shift rotating work pattern working Days, Nights and Late shifts - Monday to Friday - 8 hours per shift with a 30-minute paid lunch break.
