Goalkeeper Coach - NMH Ferdinand Collective (Paid Role)

NMH Ferdinand Collective is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Goalkeeper Coach to deliver high-quality, goalkeeper-specific training sessions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing young keepers, improving technique, confidence, and overall understanding of the position. This is a paid role within a positive and professional environment that offers a genuine development pathway for players.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging goalkeeper-specific training sessions Teach core technical skills: handling, positioning, footwork, distribution, 1v1s, and shot-stopping Provide constructive feedback and individual development support Foster confidence, discipline, and resilience in young players Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, and well-organised Maintain equipment and contribute to a positive club culture Communicate effectively with players and parents regarding progress and expectations
Experience / Requirements

Previous experience coaching goalkeepers (grassroots, academy or private training) Strong technical understanding of modern goalkeeping Confident working with children and young people Must hold relevant FA coaching qualifications and safeguarding Must be reliable, organised, and committed to player development
