We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Golf Club Manager to oversee the operations of our Golf Club. You will work closely with the Owners to oversee the day to day operations of the Club, ensuring that its strategic goals and ambitions are consistently met. You will be directly responsible for managing the club membership and the bar and catering functions within the clubhouse. Through strong leadership and a commitment to high standards, you will enhance the overall member and guest experience, whilst supporting the Club's long-term success. Responsibilities
Lead and manage all departments within the Golf Club (apart from the Greenkeepers) and ensure it is run smoothly and efficiently.
Act as the primary point of contact for members and plan and coordinate all club fixtures and events and welcome visitors to our club.
Champion excellent customer service and membership satisfaction to enhance the members and guests experience.
Work closely with the Director and Head Greenkeeper to deliver continuous improvement and innovation.
Oversee strategic planning to drive profitability.
Monitor income and expenditure, looking for new opportunities and driving efficiencies.
Management of the bar and catering functions within the clubhouse through the Bar Steward and Head Chef, who will report directly to you.
Regular communication to members, staff and visitors is paramount.
Manage all the clubhouse staff, recruit, inspire and support your team with clear goals, regular communication and leadership by example.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and maintenance across the clubhouse and course.
Handle all enquiries, reservations, and complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the Pro-shop in all matters golf related.
Help grow the Club by promoting it through social media and it's own website to raise it's profile and grow the membership and increase visitor numbers.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety and legal regulations.
Qualifications
A confident, people focussed leader with proven business acumen.
Experience in managing teams and financial operations.
Experience of Golf course management or as a minimum play and have a passion for golf.
Experience of the dynamics of the bar and catering functions would be helpful.
Computer and social media literate.
Flexibility in working hours, to work at times when major club events are going on and including some weekends.
Pay
A competitive salary is offered dependent on experience.
