Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and grounds, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail, alongside excellent guest service skills.

Duties

Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course through regular mowing, watering, and fertilising of grass areas. Manage the upkeep of bunkers, greens, tees, and fairways to ensure optimal playing conditions. Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with the planning and implementation of seasonal planting and landscaping projects. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to grounds management.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving licence is desirable for operating machinery across the grounds. Physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual labour and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
