Summary



We are seeking a skilled Revenue Manager to join our team at Royal Norwich Golf Club to ensure the continued success of the club . This role is pivotal in maximizing our revenue through strategic pricing, identifying opportunities and inventory management while enhancing the overall guest experience. You will play a crucial part in driving our financial performance and ensuring our offerings align with market demands. The primary focus of the role is achieving sales targets for memberships, green fees, societies, and corporate/group golf while building strong relationships to generate additional business opportunities.

Responsibilities



Proactively maximise revenue generation at Royal Norwich through membership, sales strategy and tee sheet optimization. Identify revenue opportunities within the tee sheet and the wider business and coordinate with external entities (such as The Revenue Club), and internal entities such as the Marketing Department to optimise these. Understand the overall market, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and know how to sell against them. Create and implement innovative ways of building Royal Norwich's golf business. Be able to provide detailed information about our golf services, facilities, and event offerings. Identify client needs and upsell effectively. Build contacts and relationships with companies and golf groups. Increase Golf Tour Operators bookings. Identify new corporate & Strategic leads. Review data including renewals, retention, leavers, conversions and overall churn rates. Develop and drive stay and play packages with local hotels. Review and suggest pricing structure for the business Identify other revenue streams in the golfing area of the business Build contacts and relationships with national companies for large group and event business. Maintain detailed records of client requirements for accurate follow-up and personalised service. Promote and sell memberships coordinating with the Golf Experience Executive to ensure a first-class onboarding process. Build strong client relationships through excellent service, follow-ups, and a tailored approach. Undertake data management duties such as data input, database management, file management and record keeping. Provide reports as required in relation to revenue and revenue potential. Ensure documents are complete with proper signatures, dates, or other written information.

Perform other related tasks as assigned by management. Duty management duties Comply with Royal Norwich policies and procedures. Work hours as required to do your job but normally not less than your contracted hours. Work flexibly to include working at different times of day, including weekends.

Requirements



Proven experience in revenue management or a similar role within the Golfing industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams. Experience in guest services is highly desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
