THE ROLE:

Under the guidance of the Director of Golf, you will be responsible for working within the Golf Operations department and in close liaison with our sales teams to provide exceptional service, maintain high standards, maximise client satisfaction and hotel profitability.

The key responsibilities of the position will be:

  • Achieving targets set for each month/year
  • Converting a min of 50% year on year repeat bookings
  • Executing marketing plans
  • Daily update of Delphi adding all daily activity
  • Group golf pace reports
  • 1-31 day plan updated monthly to set yourself goals
  • Targeting new business on the road and via appointment at the club
  • Attending networking days both at and away from the club
  • Training the golf sales exec and monitoring performance
  • Business sheets and business sheet meetings
  • Weekly reporting to RGM, HOG and Cameron Club GM
  • Group golf contracts
  • Linking golf events with the hotel to ensure smooth running
  • Networking days to build new contacts
  • Office Health & Safety, achieve company standard of 90% in audits
  • Club 59 performance and training of both yourself and sales exec

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
  • HND/Degree in business/marketing/hospitality or equivalent experience
  • Current/recent experience of working in sales within a similar environment and knowledge of Golf essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex matters both verbally and in writing
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - experience of Delphi an advantage
  • UK Driving Licence due to the spread out nature of the business and the need to be where clients are on resort
