Gloagburn is a well established family owned restaurant and farm shop on the outskirts of Perth, PH1 1QL.
Our 130 cover restaurant is open 8.30am to 5.30pm serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with the emphasis on good quality, seasonal, local and Scottish produce and an excellent standard of customer service. In addition we hold steak nights on the last Friday in the month October through March.
Our busy and recently expanded Farm shop includes all the local produce you would expect as well as ingredients from around the world, our own bakery and in house butchery.
Job Overview
We have a temporary vacancy arising for a goods in assistant to support our stock controller in the run up to Christmas from August until early January.
You will be processing and storing all in coming stock and dispatching online orders on a daily basis, using specialist software including shopify, eureka . The successful applicant will be computer literate and physically fit with great communication skills.
The job
Receive and process deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Book in all items ensuring pricing is accurate.
Advise the stock controller of any missing, incorrect or damaged goods.
Maintain warehouse, storage and delivery areas.
Dispatch online orders of Gloagburn products
Collaborate with the management and retail teams ensure that the sales floor is fully stocked at all times.
Utilize accounting software such as Eureka, Shopify, Microsoft word and Excel for inventory management and financial tracking.
The Person
Previous experience is an advantage but not required
Computer literacy
Attention to detail.
Sound literary an numeracy skills
Good physical fitness as the role involves daily manual handling.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience liaising with customers and suppliers.
