As a Sporting Goods Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail environment. Your responsibilities will include handling inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, and providing excellent customer service. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about sports and possess the necessary skills to contribute to our team.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations.
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for heavy items.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfilment of orders and customer satisfaction.
Use mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
Support construction or assembly tasks related to sporting goods when required.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling practices.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and effectively.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is essential.

Other duties may include: Picking, Packing, Return & General Warehouse duties.
Preferred Pivot Steer licence - In house training will be provided for the right candidate if you don't currently hold one (this training is required so please only apply if your happy to carry out this training).
12.21 p/h - 40hrs per week (Paid 30mins break daily)
Mon-Friday 8am till 4pm
Overtime available as and when required - paid at time & half.
