Role & Shifts

The Goods In Operative will be responsible for receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring all goods are accurately recorded and stored safely. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and strong teamwork skills to support the smooth running of the warehouse.

Experience

Warehouse experience helps, but we welcome fast learners ready to step up. Training is provided--including the daily use of pallet trucks and forklifts

Your daily tasks will include:

Receive, unload, and check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Accurately record incoming goods into warehouse systems. Ensure correct labelling, handling, and storage of products. Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies promptly to management. Assist with stock rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised goods-in area. Work closely with the warehouse team to support overall efficiency. Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a goods-in or warehouse role (preferred but not essential). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic IT skills for data entry (training provided). Flexible, reliable, and able to work shifts including weekends.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 48 per week
