Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Goods In Team Leader to join our dynamic team on a PM shift (14:00pm - 22:00pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently in the Goods In department. The role will include helping manage a team of people and directly reporting into the Goods In PM Manager. The Goods In Team Leader will effectively and efficiently manage the resources of their area, to ensure the best use of people, maintaining high standards of the Good Manufacturing Practice and help deliver on targets.

The Goods In Team Leader will play a crucial role in maintaining standards, policies and process while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Duties



Have great focus on People, Product, Plan and Plant. Lead, motivate and guide a team through daily tasks, promoting a positive and productive work environment Assign workloads, monitor performance providing feedback and training to team members Oversea the unloading, checking and recording of incoming deliveries. Ensure stock is accurately counted, checked against orders and processed. Manage stock replacement Process documentation, data entry and ad hoc record keeping for all inbound goods. Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and PPE usage Maintain high standards Liaise with suppliers, transport and internal departments for production. Adhere to KPI's Act as first point of contact for issues with goods in team Motivate and engage your team - ensure good Food Safety Culture and HSE Culture.

Requirements



Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically with goods in is essential Leadership and Management Skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Able to work with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective teamwork. FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence essential
