Wozair Limited is a specialist engineering company that designs and manufactures Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment for critical industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Nuclear, and Process Industries.

Summary

We are seeking a Goods Inwards Quality Inspector Inspector to join our team at Wozair Limited based in Gillingham. I

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring allocated tasks are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with applicable standards, company procedures/policies. Ensuring no activity by you or any colleague is conducted that may put any person at risk, directly or indirectly or cause any damage or pollution to the environment. Also, any allocated equipment, tools etc are used in a safe and correct manner and not subjected to misuse or abuse.

Seek ways to improve processes and performance in line with company Continuous Improvement program

Establish Goods Inwards best practice

Check materials and components from external suppliers in line with contractual conditions

Use engineering measuring equipment to determine quality acceptance or rejection

Examine articles to detect faulty cosmetic finishing with paint and other metal treatments

Produce relevant inspection and quality control documentation

Ensure inspection throughput is prioritised in line with the production schedule

Raise and issue NCR documents, quarantine defective items.

Administer system bookings for stock control and returned goods

Establish Supplier Quality Performance KPI's for key suppliers

Liaise with Purchasing, QHSE, Stores and Suppliers in respect of supplier quality

Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment

Other duties, as reasonably requested against company procedures

Control and management of material certification and equipment documentation

Key Skills Required

Ability to determine engineering drawings and other specifications

Previous MRP system experience an advantage

Microsoft office Microsoft Word and Excel (key)

Ability to work as part of a team

Adaptable to any work-related processes and working practices

Must be hardworking and self-motivated

Organised with excellent communication skills

Education & Experience

Formal technical engineering/ craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Mechanical engineering, welding and electrical

Excellent IT Skills

Experience of working in an Operations environment

Experience of working with MRP
