The Role: Goods Inwards / Stock Controller




Responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and tracking of all incoming materials, including customer-owned goods. This role ensures accurate inventory control, verifies shipment records, and resolves any issues related to deliveries. Working closely with internal teams to ensure materials are available for production while maintaining high standards of organisation and accountability.

Requirements



Key Responsibilities:



Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and customer documentation Maintain control and accurate records of customer-owned goods, ensuring proper handling and storage Log all incoming materials and shipments in the inventory management system with precise labelling and identification Resolve any issues related to misdirected or incorrect goods by coordinating with suppliers, couriers, and customers as needed Maintain and verify records of all incoming materials, including customer-owned goods and internal supplies Ensure accurate inventory tracking and perform regular stock counts to identify and resolve discrepancies Monitor inventory levels of all incoming materials, alert relevant teams when reorder thresholds are reached, and suggest replenishment quantities Implement and maintain proper stock rotation practices (e.g., FIFO or FEFO)

We are looking for a reliable and organised professional with a strong attention to detail and flexibility. You will bring:

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good organisational and time-management skills Basic IT skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift and move items safely (manual handling) Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control, or goods-in role preferable Familiarity with goods receiving procedures and stock management systems Forklift license
