The role:
Managing the receipting of incoming goods into the warehouse, specifically utilising in-house computer systems for all aspects of inventory control, Making sure goods are monitored and controlled correctly within the warehouse, and procedures, standards are implemented and managed consistently.
Key Responsibilities of each role:
Using a Counterbalance FLT and powered pallet truck (PPT), ensuring that all products received and checked, probed where required, labelled, stacked safely.
Moving and unloading deliveries, breaking down pallets.
Check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and report shortages/damages.
Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded.
Completion of relevant paperwork and booking onto M3 (WH management system).
Checking of products for Quality and Quantity issues.
Overseeing stock control, movement and rotational checks/counts.
Liaising with Reynolds transport team and loading outbound pallets.
Managing returned goods by putting back into stock, re-working or wasting.
Assist in minimising and monitoring specific areas of waste, maximising service, productivity and always providing availability of products.
Responsible for complying with the Warehouse Departments policies and procedures ensuring compliance to the Company standards are maintained.
Individual responsible for maintaining all legalities, Health & Safety and HACCP control within the Warehouse Department in accordance with Company policy and strict legal guidelines.
Maintain good housekeeping of work area by applying the Company 'Clean as you go' policy at all times.
Maintaining your individual responsibility in accordance with the Company Security policy, ensuring that any suspicious incidents are reported to Senior Management.
Please note the role requires you to work in an ambient and chilled environment of a temperature of less than 3c due to working in the freezer, but not to worry - we will provide you with the necessary uniform, PPE, and equipment to keep you warm!
The successful candidate will possess the below skills, experience, and qualities:
Previous Warehouse experience is desirable.
Previous production/picking line experience would be an advantage.
The ability to work methodically and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to load and unload goods (manual handling).
