A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE GOODS RECEIVER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

+ Ensure that all purchases, requisitions, etc. have proper approvals and all orders are place and received in accordance with policies and procedures. + Oversee and assist in unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distributing goods.
+ Maintain an appropriate par stock on all inventory's goods with regular stock checks and reports.
+ Ensure compliance with local food and beverage storage laws, regulations, and codes.
+ Secure competitive bids and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
+ Ensure inventory pricing reflects most current information and track all price changes.
+ Assist with financial reports in accordance with the hotel requirements meeting various due dates and deadlines.
+ Keep supervisor aware of any unusual occurrences and significant deviations from standards, policies, and procedures.
